None whatsoever. Barre uses a ballet barre as a prop for balance - that's where the similarity ends. Most of our members have never danced a day in their life.

Is barre suitable for beginners?

Completely. Coaches guide you through every movement and adapt where needed. Your first class will make sense within the first 5 minutes.

Will I actually feel it?

Yes. Barre is deceptively intense. Small, controlled movements fatigue muscles quickly - most people feel it the next day in muscles they didn't know existed.
